OUTFIT: HOW TO STYLE YELLOW IN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS
It’s really about time to do this little yellow edit as I had it swirling through my mind for way to long now. As the weather brightens up week by week I took the chance to catch those first spring sun rays for this post. Sunshine is the keyword for this post. I created three looks wearing yellow in three different ways to show you how awesomely versatile the trend color can be. Then @kleehausen kindly captured the looks for me and now also for you to see. Bliss!
If you would’ve told me 3 years earlier that I’d joyfully wear yellow (and also orange) on a daily basis some years on I wouldn’t have believed you. But well, here we are. Mustard yellow, sunny yellow or even pastel yellow - gimme all the brightness! I hope you enjoy this little edit as it also shows some cool places of my current hometown Osnabrück. But enough rambling for now - let’s get those outfits rolling.
I loved the idea of getting this dress into focus by muting the colors around it. So I simply chose black garment with a kind of edgy twist to accompany the dress. Normally I’m someone who loves to color coordinate every piece of the outfit. But for now I’m totally fine about how the combo works as the dress totally stands on its own.

SUNNY SIDE ACCESSOIRES
Hi there it’s me casually posing in a parking lot - easy. This second look is all about yellow accessories outdoing this Vichy checked two-piece. Minimalism isn’t mine so I had to involve some pattern and sneaky tiger too. The look is a go-to for everyone who’s not a 100% sure about yellow because handbags aren’t coats and therefore the easier everyday eye-catcher.

YELLOW COLOR BLOCK
The boy who survived is in town! Just kidding. I only recognized while editing that the flash and glasses make up to a kind of decent Potter revival look. Anyways - the final outfit is the most courageous one as it features a big yellow piece aka pants in this case. I really like the yellow sitting in between those stripey shirt and shoes as it connects them so nicely. I know the stripes make the look even more courageous - you could also pair the pants with a white tee and trainers. But let’s go whole hog. Add some golden jewelry and you’re good to go.
